Alumni networking event
. . . is coming up. Many of the people on the list either met me in initial on-campus interviews and didn't grant me a callback, or met me at a callback somewhere I didn't get an offer.
I would so love to go, knowing I had an offer someplace really awesome so I could chat from a position of strength.
Instead, no offers and literally one prospect in the hopper (yeah, I've gotten more rejections since I last wrote.)
So I'm going to go anyway because ya never know.
But I'm not looking forward to it.

2 little fish:
Presentation is everything, so they don't need to know you have recieved rejection notices.
Go in, with your head up high looking ultra sharp like a woman of class and strength.
Remember, everybody wants you when they think your not available. Good Luck!
I feel your pain.
Ridiculous, herculean efforts from me spreading my resume far & wide have resulted in some interviews but no offers. I do however, have a nice stack of rejection letters on my desk that I can look at fondly.
