My worst grade in law school.

Edited to add: So far... *gulp*

it should provide some comfort that your worst grade is in an utterly irrelevant bullshit class

Crap, that sucks. I hope it wasn't too bad! If it makes you feel better, I took my T&E final right after learning that my mom had cancer and got a D+ in the class. I didn't even know they handed out grades that low in law school! However, I was in an interview recently and the interviewer actually laughed about the grade (I'm going into prosecution and he thought it was hilarious that I did so poorly in a subject I will clearly never use).

this is the point where law school scares me the most. well, the grades and the gossiping...

i work in family law now. blech...at least as far as what type of family law my employer practices, and how.

Sorry to hear that. :( I hope that althought it was your worst in law school, it wasn't that bad (i.e., hopefully your worst is like a B-?)

P.S. - You got grades already?! WTF

Until tax wrecked my world, Family Law was my worst grade in law school ...

Even though I took it after spending a summer working in family court, and even though I went to law school after working in a family law office for 3 years.

Family law is pooey.

What the f? You have grades?
I'm sorry it was a bad one. That just means, though, that the rest go up from here sweetie! Like, get the bullshit out of the way so we can bring on the good news!

Ditto what 2L Wannabe said! That was fast. I'm so sorry it went so badly. :(

the longer i'm in law school, the more convinced i am that the grades are so random. i think the profs just throw the finals down the stairs and see where they land...and assign grades that way. my worst grade in law school so far was in my evidence class--despite the fact that i know evidence better than possibly any other subject i've ever taken, through mock trial and all.

This wasn't random. I expected as much. Well, I didn't expect *this* bad, but I knew well it wasn't a top of the curve test.

They do, nicolle. It's called the "stairey decisis" method.
