Not sure how I feel about this...
Remember that law review article that I was working on, the last 12 pages of which I thought were complete dreck?
Remember when I said I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be published? That's because our Law Review typically chooses only three or four to be certified for publication. I don't know how its done elsewhere, but am curious if anyone wants to comment.
Anyway, this year, three were chosen.
*Gulp*
I was picked.
This means "the Note that will not die" is back with a vengence -- I am going to have to do some serious work on this thing to feel remotely good about it being seen by anyone.
But until then, yippee? I guess?

14 little fish:
congratulations!
as an AE, i wish that the author's that i work with were as conscientious as you are.
er... i meant "authors."
lol.
Congrats! Did you do something education related?
Tangenially related to education, yes.
I cannot spell tonight.
And Paragon, I have an annoying typing "tic" -- I apostrophe almost every plural "s"
Annoying.
That is AMAZING! Congratulations! You should be so proud of yourself! This is awesome to have on your resume!
Congrats! I am in the same boat; my reaction was something like YEAH! (pause), oh no...
:)
that's awesome! congratulations! I'm curious what the topic of yoru article is.
Yay, you will be published!
Congrats! Man . . . I don't do law review. First I'm scared of the law review people at my law school, and second . . . I suffer no delusions about the amount of work involved! Kudos to you for doing it! (Oh, and I'm sure you're a lot less weird than the people who do it at my law school!)
congratulations!!! :D
Congrads. Being published is always a big deal. You should post sections of the finished article
Way to go!
Thanks everyone... I don't know about posting excerpts or the journal # when its published next year... depends on if I'm still blogging pseudo-annonymously.
And LSHM, had I gone to law school 8-10 years ago, I'd have been the scariest law student *ever.* Thank goodness life worked out how it did.
I'm a little late, but congratulations!
