Also, so this post isn't just one sentence long, advice I recently gave my friend about bar review:
I signed up for BarBri in 3L spring after the public interest auction because I bought my course there. (I didn’t save much – probably what I would have paid had I signed up as a 1L, but I was happy to see half my money go to the auction and only the rest go to the anti-christ). I wanted to have the balls to say NO to BarBri ... taped lectures, huge books, awful pricing practices (we raise our rates annually even though the market doesn't demand it!), evil additional fees adding on to every service that should absolutely by included... but in the end, I chickened out and went with BarBri. They’re good at what they do. I didn’t do any of the “extra” lectures or “extra” essay grading they try to lure you in with, and I don’t think it hurt me at all. But I can’t imagine having done it without them.
