I wrote a post about "shit my mom does," but writing it out doesn't work. I don't know if it would be worse to write about it and have people think, wow, you're making a big deal out of nothing. Or for people to confirm that really, her behavior is .... Yeah.
The little girl inside of me who worked very hard to make sure everything looked normal, nothing to see here, just can't hit publish.
Ugh. Sorry about that. At least on some level, I understand.
ReplyDeleteChances are good that it really is weird if you've gone so far as to write it. Given that my mother is batshit crazy, I understand - the wanting to post and the not wanting to post. (Also, the weird loyalty to a crazy parent.)
ReplyDeleteI'd share my family's complete history of epic insanity, but I wouldn't want anyone to note that insanity is often genetic, and that I'm probably carrying around some bad genes that will land me in the looney bin at some point. So, I just don't write the posts.
