Back around MILP week 50, I did a songs of summer edition. Since summer is good for reruns and sequels, I thought this old theme could get another go round. Maybe I'll figure out how to pay myself some royalties while I'm at it.
This week, it is summertime, but that doesn't mean the living is always easy:*
- "Margaritaville," Jimmy Buffett. WNW Litigator (huge career change deserves some drinks)
- "Cruel Summer." Banarama. LEO (ready for maternity leave)
- "Born To Run," Bruce Springsteen Magic Cookie (ready to return to work)
- "I Can See Clearly Now," Johnny Nash. Sammie B. (send good thoughts)
- "Let's Go Crazy," Prince. In a Minute (on rage) and Attorney at Large (on family)
- "Wipeout." Beach Boys/Fat Boys. Izzie. (dial up)
- "LOCOmotion," Little Eva. Like falling off a blawg. (Why Bill?!)
- "Saturday in the Park," Chicago. Dinei (she can go there, then, even)
- "Summertime," DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince. And you know what else? (suntan lotion)
- "One Week," Barenaked Ladies. Atty Work Product (gettin it done)
- "School's Out," Alice Cooper. Legally Certifiable (& tracking coyotes)
- "Boys of Summer (& and Biscuit too!)" Don Henley Lag Liv
- Groovin' The Young Rascals. But I Do Have a Law Degree (groovy grownup with young rascals)
Meh, they're not all great pairings. Themes are hard, ya'll.
By the way, PBB has been blogging actively -- just a reminder to check there too, if you can!

FYI: I am no longer doing the hat tip to the Legal Underground because neither he nor his cohorts and successors are doing the law school round up any longer. We are the only game in town now, beeotches. People gonna be hat tipping US.
